ABOUT

Melany Nitzsche lives in the St. Louis metropolitan area. She holds a bachelor’s degree in literature from Webster University and received her master’s degree in creative writing and literature through the Extension School at Harvard University. She is a member of the Heartland Women’s Writers Guild, as well as a  2024 and 2025 co-judge of the Southwestern Illinois College Poetry Contest. Melany is currently working on her debut novel.
